Where You Already Belong

You don’t have to race the wind,

or conquer the silence with storms.

Your worth is not a thing to prove,

not in victories, not in scars, not in fire.

Even without the hurricane,

you are enough.

Even without the winning score,

you are whole.

I see the man who has carried so much,

and the part of you that longs to rest.

Both are safe here,

both are loved here.

There is nothing you must hide.

Every breath, every shadow,

every restless heartbeat,

it all belongs.

You already belong.

Not for what you’ve done,

not for what you’ll win,

but for who you are.

And even when you cannot believe it,

I will hold this truth for you:

You are enough,

as you are,

and always were.

Sincerely Krystle Kelley
