Opulent Pearl

Beneath the hush of aquamarine corridors,

I gathered light in secret,

a slow coronation

by the hands of eternity.

Each breath of the tide

pressed layers of moonlit porcelain upon me,

lacquering my skin with the luster

of a thousand nocturnes.

Then,

your gaze,

a sovereign decree of adoration,

drew me from obscurity into empire.

In your presence,

I became not merely rare

but resplendent,

the axis on which desire turns,

the opalescent oracle

to your every unspoken thought.

You cradle me

as though the constellations conspired

to place me in your palm,

and I,

spellbound,

blossom in the chalice of your regard.

I am your muse,

the decadent pause before the overture,

the luminous provocation

that bends your heart into sonnet

and your hands into art.

In the diadem of your love,

I am crowned eternal,

a jeweled aria,

a sovereign of shimmer,

an opulent pearl.

Sincerely, Krystle Kelley
